Dear Parents,

o We are having our Ethnic Food Tasting Party on Friday afternoon! If you are able to send in a food item from your culture with your child please remember to fill out the portion that tells where the dish is from! Thank you for all who are volunteering to help with this activity J

o On Monday permission slips for our field trip to the Museum of Science were sent home. Please remember to return the slips as soon as possible!

Here is what your child will be learning this week:

Language Arts: There will be NO spelling or selection test this week. Students will be reviewing for their Unit 5 benchmark assessment and taking their assessment on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

Writing: Students continue to work on the trait of Sentence Fluency. Students will also be taking their quarter 4 writing prompt throughout the week.

Social Studies: We are continuing to learn about Hudson History! Students are getting excited for our Tour of Hudson Field Trip J (permission slips will be coming soon)

Science: Next week students will begin their unit on Plants
