Dear Parents,
I will be sending home a letter explaining our Valentine’s Day party that will be on February 14th from 1:00-3:00pm. If you would like to volunteer to bring in a food item for the party, please send back the bottom portion and I will let you know what item to bring in as soon as possible!
Here is what your child will be learning this week:
Language Arts: This week students will be taking their Unit 3 Benchmark Assessment. We will be reviewing skills and concepts prior to taking our assessment. There will be NO spelling or selection test this week
Math: Students are working on Multiplying 8 as a factor, 3 as a factor, multiplying to find combinations and problem solving with multiple step problems.
Writing: Students are continuing to work on the trait of Voice by writing about a topic that interests them.
Social Studies: Students are beginning their unit on Government.
