Nottingham West will offer Math Superstars again this school year.  Information on this year's program will be posted.  Check back soon to find out more about this great program.

Summer 2009

Nottingham West offered a Math Superstars optional on-line math summer program designed to challenge and engage students in thinking about mathematics over the summer. There are 2 components of the math summer program. Students either choose Option 1 or option 2:

Option 1: Math Superstar Summer Enrichment Program: This program is for those students who have already participated in the Math Superstar Program during the 2008-09 school year. Students will need to complete Activities 11-20 for the grade they were in this school year. Students will turn in their completed logs to their receiving teacher on the first day of school in September.

Option 2: Math Superstar Summer Program: This program is for those students who did not participate in the Math Superstar Program during the 2008-09 school year. Students will need to complete Activities 1-10 for the grade they were in this school year. Students will turn in their completed logs to their teacher on the first day of school in September. Worksheets do not have to be turned in.

2008-2009

Math Superstars program ended April 14th. Students who participated in the 10 week school on-line program (February-April) received a certificate of participation, medal, a picture taken accompanied by a letter of achievement mailed home.
