| Jan 2010 | NO NAME CALLING WEEK 2010 - THE PEACE FLAG PROJECT No Naming Calling Week, coordinated by Guidance Counselor, Gloria Eno, was a big success. The purpose of the week was for students to be more sensitive to name calling and bullying and to give students the opportunity to reflect on their own behavior. The program was a natural extension and reinforcement of the character education program at Nottingham West. |
| Dec 2009 | A month full of fun events December was a busy month at Nottingham West. From special holiday parties and candy pencil grams to a family bingo night and school bookfair, the month was packed with activities for all. |
| Nov 2009 | Guest Speakers & A Memorable Assembly There were no dull moments for our students in November. The month was filled with special projects and guest speakers. The highlight of the month for students was the summer reading assembly where they had their chance to stick Mr. Durso to the wall. |
| Oct 2009 | Eye on Curriculum Electricity, Things that go Bump in the night, Necap and NWEA Testing. This month was filled creative learning experiences along with standardized testing. |
